Sand tigers are one of the only sharks known to come to the surface and gulp air. They store the air in their stomachs, which allows them to float motionless in the water, seeking prey.
Zoë the Zebra Shark

The name zebra shark is given because as a juvenile the shark has zebra like stripes. When it matures these stripes turn into cheetah like spots.

It has been said that bamboo sharks can survive up to 10 hours out of water!
Leo the Lemon Shark

The lemon shark gets its name from the fact that when it is born it has a slightly yellowish colouring and its snout is an oval shape.
Nigel the Nurse Shark

Nurse Sharks are nocturnal, and will often rest on the sea floor during the day in groups of up to 40 sharks, sometimes piled on top of each other.

The blacktip is one of a few sharks that can jump fully out of the water, a behaviour called breaching. They have also been observed surfacing to look around (spy-hopping).
